Receiving Your Scholarship Money

This is for past scholarship recipients who have been accepted to a college or university

Congratulations on your scholarship. We are happy to help with your education and career goals. In order to process  your scholarship we need you to submit the following a) the funds release form below and b) a complete high school transcript to verify that you met the 3.5 GPA requirement.  Please wait until you graduate and send one complete transcript.  When the Foundation receives the necessary documents a grant agreement will be sent to your college or university for major verification (using the information on the funds release form, so please make sure it is accurate).  The agreement is between the school and the EnergySolutions Foundation which states that the University will distribute the money according to our guidelines.  Once the agreement is returned, the money is released to the university. Please allow at least six weeks for processing.

8. Please be mindful that it is the goal of the EnergySolutions Foundation to create the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, and engineers needed to support the energy industry. Although healthcare practitioners (e.g. nurses, pharmacists, medical doctors, physical therapists, veterinarians) are based in science, these professions do not match the goals of this program. By signing the scholarship application, you certified that funds would be used to pursue one of the scholarship’s eligible majors. Applicants who declare healthcare practitioner majors forfeit this scholarship. We understand that colleges and universities may use different names for majors. If your major is not in the drop down menu, please list your declared major in the "other" box.

1.
